Hawks Pointe
This picturesque 15-acre site on the south shores of Lake Minnetonka inspired a residential neighborhood in a sought-after community. The very things that make the site unique also created development challenges and required close coordination with regulatory agencies.
The Landform team worked closely with the developer to protect the site’s assets and fulfill regulatory requirements. The resulting neighborhood design for Hawks Pointe creates 15 lots for single family homes nestled within impressive stands of mature trees. Thoughtful, context sensitive stormwater treatment measures protect the water quality of Lake Minnetonka. Roadway work was coordinated with Alliant Engineering and MnDOT to ensure safe access to the neighborhood via new turn lanes.
