Lakes in Stillwater
For this new Senior Living Campus, The Lakes at Stillwater, the Landform team of civil engineers, landscape architects, land surveyors, and planners focused the campus program design around two primary drivers: the beautiful natural environment of the existing site and a senior user group with active lifestyles.
This project provides senior residents with a variety of housing and care options with access to the spectacular grounds and nature preserve regardless of age or ability. The Landform team worked on-site to identify the adjacent preserve’s best views and stake the walking trail through the preserve land. Landform’s land survey team converted that meticulous on-site work into CAD plans to be incorporated into design drawings.
A variety of specially designed activity nodes were included in this project. The memory care garden incorporates sensory design features and year-round interest. A small amphitheater is nestled into the sunny backyard welcoming residents and guests of all abilities to enjoy an afternoon performance or educational demonstration. This shared space includes playful interactive features for visiting youngsters or just the young at heart.
